I am a 22 year old Student and have just finished my final year at the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. I have varying interests that cover a broad spectrum in both my specialism, and other fields.
I studied for a degree in Software Engineering and as such I have interests in good code practises, collaborative work, and communications. I also enjoy database systems, new powerful programming languages, internet advancements and social media.
Outside of computing I admire architecture, history and photography. I am a great believer in learning from what has gone before me, although learning the mistakes for myself is also invaluable in the course of life. I am also interested in medical technology and devices, inherited from my father who first introduced the Stiffneck Collar into the UK.
I am a huge sports fan and participate in Golf, Badminton, Skimboarding and Slacklining. I am a keen Rugby fan and follow the Welsh international side, as well as the Osprey's and the Cardiff Blues. Closer to home I am the information and web architect for Edinburgh University Rugby Football Club (EURFC). I also have worked with the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show (ECFS), Edinburgh University History Society (EUHS) and Edinburgh University Pole Dancing Society (PoleSoc) on their web presence.
