I am pleased to announce that LaTeX Wiki (or LaTiKi) is now available for download as a public beta.
LaTiKi is essentially a wiki for LaTeX. Rather than using Wiki syntax, it uses LaTeX markup which is then processed into a PDF on all the main pages. Categories still use Wiki syntax for ease of navigation. I feel this wiki enables crisp and user defined presentation of any document to the user. This wiki has full revision and change control, as well as a log to view the most recent output of the compilation process. This wiki therefore allows collaborative LaTeX documents to be written using a web interface.
LaTiKi is built upon MediaWiki with underlying changes to the core code and the addition of an extension. Installation is exactly the same as installing MediaWiki and adding code to the LocalSettings.php file. MediaWiki is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2), as is also LaTiKi.
I would be delighted if you could provide any feedback in terms of how easy it is to use, configure and manage. Please also alert me of any bugs. I am interested to hear suggestions as well as feedback specific to the display, navigation, ease of collaboration.
A download link is available on the Projects page.
For feedback, please mail me via my contact form, or alternative use the hashtag #latiki on twitter.

Wow! Thats some Spanish right there. I know the guy using it I think but can't translate much of it. It's all just configuration settings for LaTiKi - in the LocalSettings.php file if that helps.
